POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Associate will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, both remotely and in the field. This role requires a sales hunter to open new doors, support the sales team, and drive adoption within targeted market segments, specifically Wellness and Lifestyle Medicine.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions of the Position) include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sales Development & Lead Generation
  • Proactively identify, research, and reach out to potential customers within assigned segments Wellness and Lifestyle Medicine
  • Partner with the BDR team to qualify inbound leads and develop outbound strategies.
  • Act as the first point of contact for prospects—conduct initial discovery calls to understand needs and determine fit.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales team.
Sales Process Support
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Strategic Account Director to advance opportunities through the sales funnel and generate opportunities and assist in close deals.
  • Participate in virtual and in-person product demonstrations.
  • Provide clinical insight and case examples to strengthen the business case for SOZO.
Market Development
  • Represent SOZO at trade shows, industry events, and targeted community outreach.
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development.

QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES
Typical Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Self-starter with a hunter’s mindset and a passion for prospecting.
  • Skilled at building trust and credibility with both clinical and business decision-makers.
  • Flexible and adaptable—able to pivot between sales and training needs quickly.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and motivated by collective success.
  • Knows how to open opportunities in emerging Wellness and Lifestyle Medicine.
  • Ability to understand the clinical value of innovative medical technology
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE OR CERTIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years in sales, experience in Wellness, IV & Med Spa.
  • Proven track record of lead generation and pipeline growth.
  • Strong presentation skills (virtual and in-person) with ability to explain complex clinical concepts clearly.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools, virtual meeting platforms, and basic data reporting.
  • Willingness to travel as required (up to 75%).

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Travel: Position requires some business travel (including overnight) estimated up to 75% and valid driver’s licence and valid passport.
  • Physical Demand: Light physical effort.  This job requires the employee to lift at least 15 lbs infrequently. This position may include considerable fieldwork, with possible exposure to physical and/or environmental hazards.
  • Mental Demand: Moderate to high degree of concentration.

This position may require access to patient Protected Health Information (PHI) and may also involve access to electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI). Those in this position are required to comply with all final regulations including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

This position shall be aware of standards, international standards and regulations for the jurisdiction that ImpediMeds places medical devices and/or provides services.
